Tue, Apr 1, 20144/1/2014 No longer doing any kind of discounts, this includes military. Recently we had various discounts for certain days of the week. These have now been discontinued, the reason... Had a client the other day, and due to traffic I was a few mins late not to exceed 10 mins. (Sometimes traffic gets really bad) but I did off to give my client a little extra love. The client told me what the budget of the day was and went on to do the tattoo. After the budget expired I continued to tattoo for an extra hour. FREE OF CHARGE! This was because I felt bad my client had to wait. The client then made a deposit for the next session. (I thought they had a budget but apprerantly had enough to make another deposit) Second session comes about and the client is a no show due to miscommunication. The client was still healing so the tattoo would not be able to have been worked in that day. So reguardless if the client would of came I would of said the tattoo still needs time to heal. So we decided to schedule for a later date. The day came and the client was a no show once again, this time I called and texted my client. After 8 hours+. The client finally called me and told me she passed out and fell asleep. I said "your going to need to come in a make a deposit for a future appointment. And that's when hell broke loose! She was obviously disappinted and I had to explain the reason she had to make a new deposit is because she was a no show and never called. If she would of called 48 hours prior to her appointment it gives me a higher change of booking someone in last minute. But if the client does not show up at all we lose the entire day. I charge $200 an hour, a $100 deposit obviously does not cover a full day lost. The clients gf the. Called me complaining as if I was trying to get off on them. I explained everything that happened to her too. She was upset and mentioned don't you understand she is military and works nights? I was like it's her job, she chose that job. She obviously knows her schedule, if she is too tired to come in for her appointment. Don't schedule it after work, simple as that! She then brought up the fact that I was late to our first appointment, yet I contacted them, I told them I was a running a little late and gave them an extra hour of tattoo time. Next I said, "how about from now on I charge full price and never give a military discount again"? And on top of that how about you pay me for the extra hour I did on your gf? If that's the case you still owe me $100.00 As a result from now on no more discounts of any kind! Rico Sandoval W.F. La Mancha Tattoo
